Plamen Petrov's home page

I was born on December 16th, 1967 in Razgrad, Bulgaria. I finished a mathematical highschool in my hometown in 1985; later I received a master's degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (FMI), Sofia University. My scientific interests include Cellular Automata (CA), Physics of Computation (POC), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and theoretical computer science in general. I am especially interested in Ed Fredkin's theory about the Universe as a cellular automaton, known as "Digital Physics" (DP). My hobbies include computer programming, math and chess puzzles of any kind.
